Rösjöskolan is located in Edsberg, close to nature reserves and Rösjön. Approximately 420 students attend the school from preschool class to grade 6. We offer school and leisure for students in primary school, adapted primary school, and preparatory class. The operation has a school environment that creates all the conditions for movement, learning, and health, and our employees are driven to make a difference and create conditions for each student to reach as far as possible in their knowledge development. The compensatory mission is significant, and the school actively works to create both a socially and knowledge-promoting operation.
Job Responsibilities
We continue to grow and are now looking for two more special teachers to join our wonderful team at the adapted primary school. Together with your colleagues, you create the best conditions for students' learning and development. Your work involves planning, implementing, evaluating, and analyzing the teaching in the classroom. You are responsible for leading and following up on the teaching together with the work team and actively participate in the work towards the school's goals.
In your teaching, you use both digital and analog tools in a thoughtful way to strengthen students' participation and development. The work is based on a salutogenic approach, where your perspective is an important piece of the puzzle in creating good learning environments and providing students with the best possible conditions for success.
Qualifications
As a special teacher, you build trusting relationships with the students and see the relationship as a central part of learning. You are self-driven, take initiative, and are communicative, while confidently driving your work forward and can conduct conversations and dialogues in an inclusive and structured way. To thrive in the role, you need to appreciate collaboration and an environment with pulse, and you see learning as a process where both students and adults are constantly developing.
Requirements:
- You have a teaching license and are a special teacher with a focus on intellectual disabilities.
Meritorious:
- Experience working as a special teacher in an adapted primary school
- Experience and knowledge of TAKK, PECS, and/or TBA
- Good knowledge of autism and NPF in combination with intellectual disabilities (ID)

Interviews will be held on-site at Sollentuna City Hall on Thursday morning, March 12, and Friday afternoon, March 13.
